Does the delivery partner accept offline orders ?

Yes, clients can process offline orders from their EPOS system and the order will be assigned to a delivery partner. However you do need to be aware of the following prerequisites:

  1. The client's Fusion version must be on EPOS - 11.2.4 (1134) or greater in order for the offline deliveries to be connected to a delivery partner.
  1. The client must wait before taking another order while the “pay by link” is in progress until the customer makes the payment.
  1. If the customer has not used the “pay by link” for 3 continuous times, the “PBL” SMS will not be sent to the customer, and hence, the order cannot be processed.
  1. Orders can still be assigned from the driver screen to their own delivery driver if the order fails to connect to a delivery partner.
  1. The order should not be hidden while the delivery is in progress.
  1. Orders cannot be cancelled when the order is in the hidden tab. If the customer complains that the food is not up to the mark, the refund can be initiated from the online bank (Datman).
  1. If the customer's name is changed after adding a valid address, the changed customer's name will not be sent to the delivery partner.
  1. If there is no driver's available, an error message will be shown in Fusion as "Delivery is not available for this address."
  1. The minimum order value will still be respected from the delivery configuration.
  1. Order value should be more than the store price. If not, payment cannot be processed.
