Understanding The Hybrid Delivery Charges
Clients configure delivery charges through the MyBusiness Hub app, tailoring costs for specific distance ranges. When end users place orders, they pay the delivery charges established by the takeaway's configuration.
Using Own Drivers: If the takeaway chooses to use their own drivers, the paid delivery charge enters the client's Datman account, contributing to overall earnings.
Utilizing FH Delivery Partner: If the takeaway opts for our FH delivery partner, they receive a quote. The end user's payment contributes to this quote, and the remainder is debited from the takeaway's Datman account.
Let's say a takeaway sets a £2.00 delivery charge for distances of 0-1 mile. An end user pays this amount at checkout. Our delivery partner provides a quote of £5.54 for the delivery. The user's £2.00 payment contributes to the delivery partner's fee, the takeaway's Datman account is debited for the remaining balance, which is (£5.54 - £2.00) = £3.54.
